What type of alerts are sent?

When do alerts get sent?

Alerts and notifications are created based on DLH.io's specifications to deliver certain information to customers based on the need to react to critical issues or matters requiring their attention. While these could be too atomic a balance is always sought. Details on Sync Bridge statuses are mainly found in the Logs & Monitoring area, while other actions or alerts are found in the Alerts section and/or sent via a notification channel.

Below is a table representing what conditions and what notification or alerting method is used in DLH.io. If there are any requests for different notifications please contact Customer Support to submit a request.

How do alerts get sent?

Alerts are sent based on user preferences which can be setup in the user profile page. They are sent via our email distribution platform or via other enterprise instant messenger platform such as Slack, Microsoft Teams, PagerDuty, etc. which sends alert notifications as they occur (based on the table structure above). You must connect to one of your notification channels using the Alerts & Notifications page options on the platform itself in order to receive notifications to your desired system.

How to set alert notification preferences?

Navigate to My Profile > Notifications and update what type of notifications you wish to receive. Notifications preferences are done at an individual user level and delivered based on their email account they use to log into the DLH.io application. Notification channels for Slack, Teams, etc. are configured at a Project level.
