Files & Object Storage
DLH.io documentation for Files & Object Storage
Files, flat files, and other object storage files are still a major part in Data LakeHouse and Data Lake Analytics development efforts.
Most companies still work on a daily basis with electronic files such as spreadsheets and have a need to both share for productivity, but also to use as incremental references for data warehouse projects and other value add business analysis work.
Take a look at left menu for more details on supported file and object storage connectors.

Email: In or Out?
DLH.io works with email in both directions:
- Email (Source) File Ingest brings data in. Send or forward CSV, XLS or XLSX attachments to a DLH.io inbound address and they load into your data warehouse. This is a good fit for scheduled report exports and team spreadsheets from systems that only offer "email this report".
- Email (Target) Destination sends data out. Deliver the results of a SQL Data Query or an AI Summary to an email address or distribution list on a schedule.
If the system that emails a report also has an API, a direct DLH.io connector is usually the more reliable option. Browse connectors.
