Setup Steps
DLH.io Setup Guide for Dayforce Reporting
Prerequisites
This connector synchronizes Dayforce reports only (Legacy Reports or Analytics Reports). No other Dayforce entities are pulled. Before you begin, make sure that:
- You have a Dayforce API user with permission to run the reports you want to synchronize.
- The reports you want synchronized by default are named with the DLH_ prefix.
Setup Instructions
DLH.io connects to Dayforce using your API credentials over secure channels. This connection is read only.
- Enter a Name or Alias for this connection, in the Name/Alias field, that is unique from other connectors.
- Enter in the Target Schema Prefix field, a name that will be unique in your target destination where you wish to land the data.
- Enter the Company Id of the Dayforce company you are retrieving reports from.
- Enter the User and Password of the Dayforce API integration user.
- Select the Dayforce Environment (for example Production or Test).
- Click the Authorize Your Account button which will save and test the connection.
Selecting Reports
After saving, open the Source Schema tab and click Refresh to pull the latest report list from Dayforce. Reports named with the DLH_ prefix are selected by default; any other report needs DLH.io support to enable it. Use the Configurations tab to switch between Legacy and Analytics reports, control whether report target tables are dropped and recreated on each run, and set per-report day of week schedules.
If any issues occur with the Dayforce authorization, return to the sources page in DLH.io, edit this source, and click the Authorize Your Account or Re-Authorize Your Account button. If any issues persist please contact our support team via the DLH.io Support Portal.
