Setup Steps

DLH.io Setup Guide for EZOfficeInventory

Connector Pre-Requisites

Connecting to an EZOfficeInventory account, you need to make sure that:

  • API access is enabled for your company. API access is off by default and only the Account Owner can turn it on. In EZOfficeInventory open Settings, go to Add Ons, enable API Integration and generate an API Token. Treat the token like a password.
  • You know your company Subdomain. It is the first part of the address you use to sign in, for example acme in https://acme.ezofficeinventory.com.
  • Some EZOfficeInventory modules, such as bundles, contracts and packages, depend on your plan and settings. Tables for modules your account does not have are created empty and noted in the sync history.

Instructions (Basic Connection Setup)

DLH.io securely connects to your EZOfficeInventory account using your Subdomain and API Token. This connection is read only and never writes data back to EZOfficeInventory.

  1. Enter a Name or Alias for this connection, in the 'Name/Alias' field, that is unique from other connectors.
  2. Enter in the 'Target Schema Prefix' field, a name that will be unique in your target destination where you wish to land the data.
  3. Enter your EZOfficeInventory Subdomain.
  4. Enter your EZOfficeInventory API Token.
  5. Optionally set a Historical Start Date. Without one, the first synchronization reaches back three years for history, work orders, purchase orders and projects, and pulls all items, locations, members and other reference data in full.
  6. Click the Save & Test button to validate the connection. DLH.io will call the EZOfficeInventory API with both values and confirm access.

Every later synchronization pulls only the records created or changed since the previous one. EZOfficeInventory allows a limited number of API requests per minute, so a large first synchronization may take some time. DLH.io paces its requests to stay within that limit.
