DLH.io Setup Guide for Jira
Connector Pre-Requisites
Connecting to Jira, you need to make sure that:
- You have access to a Jira Cloud site and permission to authorize third-party connected apps.
- You are signed in to the Atlassian account you want DLH.io to read from.
- Jira Server and Data Center connections are not yet supported.
Instructions (Basic Connection Setup)
DLH.io securely connects to your Jira Cloud account using OAuth 2.0. DLH.io does not capture or store your Atlassian password/credentials, and every scope requested is read only: this connector never creates, updates or deletes anything in your Jira instance.
Using the form please complete the following basic steps:
- Enter a Name or Alias for this connection, in the 'Name/Alias' field, that is unique from other connectors.
- Enter in the 'Target Schema Prefix' field, a name that will be unique in your data cloud destination database where you wish to land the data.
- Click the Authorize Your Account button which will transport you to the Atlassian login page.
- Log in using your Atlassian credentials and allow DLH.io to access your Jira data.
- Once authorization is successful, you will be automatically redirected back to this DLH.io portal and the connection will be saved.
If any issues occur with the authorization, return to the sources page in DLH.io, edit this source and click the Save & Test button.
