DLH.io Setup Guide for KnowBe4
Connector Pre-Requisites
Connecting to KnowBe4, you need to make sure that you have the following:
- A KnowBe4 subscription that includes the Reporting API (Platinum, Diamond, SAT Foundation or SAT Advanced).
- A Reporting API Token, generated in the Reporting API Management Console of your KnowBe4 console (
training.knowbe4.com/app/api_tokens/reporting). Do not use a User Event API key, it is a different key. - The Region of your KnowBe4 account, US (
us.api.knowbe4.com) or EU (eu.api.knowbe4.com). Your KnowBe4 account manager can confirm which one applies.
Instructions (Basic Connection Setup)
DLH.io connects to KnowBe4 over secure channels using your Reporting API token. This connection is read only.
Using the form please complete the following basic steps:
- Enter a Name or Alias for this connection, in the 'Name/Alias' field, that is unique from other connectors.
- Enter in the 'Target Schema Prefix' field, a name that will be unique in your target destination where you wish to land the data.
- Choose the Region of your KnowBe4 account.
- Enter the API Token.
- Optionally set a Historical Start Date. Without one, the first synchronization reads the phishing security tests that started in the last three years, with their recipients. Every other table is always read in full.
- Click Save & Test to validate the connection.
