Setup Steps

DLH.io Setup Guide for Recognize

Connector Pre-Requisites

Connecting to Recognize, you need to make sure that you have the following:

  • The Client ID and Client Secret of a Recognize API application issued to your company. Request one from Recognize support (support@recognizeapp.com) if you do not have one.
  • Your company Network, the domain shown in your Recognize address, for example yourcompany.com in recognizeapp.com/yourcompany.com.
  • The email of a Recognize company admin. DLH.io reads data as this admin, so private recognitions are included only when the admin can see them.

Instructions (Basic Connection Setup)

DLH.io connects to Recognize over secure channels using your API application. This connection is read only.

Using the form please complete the following basic steps:

  1. Enter a Name or Alias for this connection, in the 'Name/Alias' field, that is unique from other connectors.
  2. Enter in the 'Target Schema Prefix' field, a name that will be unique in your target destination where you wish to land the data.
  3. Enter the Client ID and Client Secret.
  4. Enter the Network and the Admin Email.
  5. Optionally set a Historical Start Date. Without one, the first synchronization reads every recognition since your company joined Recognize.
  6. Click Save & Test to validate the connection.
